Rehabilitative Ultrasound Lower Quadrant
Registration Saturday 8.45am.
This course is designed to provide detailed training and application of ultrasound for practitioners with an interest in lower quadrant musculoskeletal tissue assessment, rehabilitation and treatment. Ultrasound also provides a powerful feedback and motivation technique for clients - as they can see the difference cross sectionally when you compare their injured side to normal side and longitudinally with repeated ultrasound assessments.
The scope of the course includes;
- overview of ultrasound scanning for tendons and muscle and how to interpret the images
- basic practical physics, knobology and interpretation of artifacts
Real time ultrasound biofeedback applications will be discussed for the various areas and how to incorporate these into clinical practice
