Hi Visitor

Clinical Outcomes Workshop

For therapists in Brisbane, you have an ideal opportunity to be the first to attend Dr. Philip Gabel's workshop on Clinical Outcome Measures - Is Bigger Better?. A clinician and researcher, Phil presented some of his PhD work to 45 undergrad and GEM students last month at UQ, and at the end of this month is providing a full day workshop for those therapists wanting to know what outcome tools to use and how to correctly measure the effects of their treatment ...... doesn't that mean you? Do you want to know how to quickly and accurately select the correct tool and how to apply it?

Participant Level

Novice to intermediate: with a strong focus on general orientation, increased awareness and application of outcome measures within an evidence informed and evidence based practice framework.

Benefits you will receive from attending this course include;

  1. An understanding of currently advocated musculoskeletal outcome and screening measures
  2. An understanding of the implications of the tools used in evidence best practice and clinical management
  3. Usage of charts to plot progress in both regional patient reported outcome format and global status
  4. Utilisation of outcome measures to assist in accountability to third party groups and compliance with Quality assurance standards eg ISO 9002

Using outcome measures with a patient-centered focus on condition status and progression, demonstrates to external providers, referrers and clients, the objective evidence that indicates the efficacy of your chosen treatment interventions.

If you treat clients, outcomes measures are vital. Come to the Clinical Outcome Measures - Is Bigger Better? workshop in Brisbane to learn how to use chart your client's progression.
